Our mission
At L & L Markets, our mission is to create welcoming, community-focused events that celebrate creativity in all its forms. We bring together local makers, small business owners, and a select number of direct sales vendors to offer shoppers a fun, diverse, and memorable experience.
We believe in the power of shopping local — not just to find something special, but to support real people doing what they love. Whether you're a maker setting up your first booth or a visitor discovering your new favourite small business, there's a place for you here.
At the heart of it all? Two friends (that’s us — Lisa & Lorna) who turned a shared passion into a space where community and creativity thrive.

We’re jumping in with heart, hustle, and high hopes — and we can’t wait to see it come to life.

Lisa and Lorna — two friends who turned a casual chat into a big dream (and then made that dream real).

Late-night texts, to-do lists, endless cups of coffee and way too many inappropriate jokes about ourselves.
👉🏼🥅Our goal was simple:
Create the kind of market we’d love to attend — positive, warm, welcoming, and full of amazing local vendors.
👉🏼🤩We’re learning as we go...
But we’re having the best time figuring it all out — and meeting incredible makers along the way.
👉🏼🤦🏽♀️Biggest “uh-oh” moment so far?
We didn't realise how hard it would be to find a nice cozy hall that wasn't too small...oh AND how far in advance we'd have to book said hall!

Humour, Supportive vendors, kind messages, and a shared spreadsheet that (mostly) keeps us on track.

Semi-precious gemstone bracelets, shopping local... especially anything handmade, and that feeling when you find the perfect gift. And looking after our vendors!!

We nearly named the market something totally different... but L & L Markets just felt right.
